Women in Philanthropy membership is a commitment to showing up for our community, for Phoenix’s children, and for one another.
Applications are reviewed monthly.
Why Join
Women in Philanthropy (WIP) is a Phoenix-based 501(c)(4) fundraising organization founded on the belief that when women come together with shared purpose, extraordinary things happen for the children in their community.
Through collective giving, signature fundraising events, and direct volunteer service, our members translate commitment into measurable change. Every dollar raised and every hour volunteered goes directly toward bettering the lives of children throughout the Valley.

Member Commitments
These shared standards are what make our impact possible — and what make membership meaningful.
Each member raises $5,000 annually toward our beneficiary children’s charities. Together, our members’ collective giving creates impact that far exceeds what any one of us could accomplish individually.
Members contribute 25 volunteer hours annually at WIP signature events, in service of beneficiary partner organizations, or alongside fellow members throughout the Valley.
The Process
Our four-step process is designed to be thoughtful and personal, we want to get to know you, and we want you to get to know us.
Complete the online application. You'll share a brief overview of your philanthropic background, what draws you to WIP's mission, and a short video introducing yourself.
Selected applicants are invited to a second-round interview with the WIP membership committee. This is a conversation, we want to understand your passion, your goals, and how you envision contributing to the WIP community.
Successful candidates are welcomed into the WIP family. You’ll be officially notified following the close of the application review period and receive everything you need to get started.
The Application
Our application is designed to give you the space to share who you are — not just what you’ve done. We’re looking for women who are passionate about children’s causes in Phoenix and ready to show up for the community.
Submissions are reviewed by the WIP membership committee, and selected candidates will be notified.
What We’ll Ask
A brief overview of your experience with giving back, community service, or nonprofit involvement.
What draws you to Women in Philanthropy and its focus on supporting children's charities in Phoenix.
A brief video submission introducing yourself to the membership committee — your story in your own voice, something a written form alone can't capture.
"There is an inherent need for connection in our community, and we're excited to be able to provide a space where women can come together, collaborate, and connect with each other and the children in need in Phoenix."
